The Finnish Student Championships (FSC) consist of national championship tournaments for Finnish higher education students. The tournaments gather thousands of students from Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences. The idea behind the FSC is to offer an enjoyable sporting format for students regardless of performance level. The whole concept is based on the joy of sport and joining together for the fun of it!
The FSC include two series: the competitive series and the relaxed series, the latter being meant for beginners and less experienced athletes. The winners of the FSC are granted the right to represent Finland in the European Universities Championships or the EUSA Games the following year.
Any member of the OLL member organisations is allowed to compete in the FSC, as well as the universities and students’ unions that have purchased an FSC licence.
The upcoming FSC and relevant links can be found here: https://oll.fi/en/events/finnish-student-championships/. Later in the year you will get further information on the championships through the FSC newsletter, which is published 5-7 times in a year. You can order it from here
