The Ministry of Education and Culture provides funding for higher education institutions
Higher education institutions can apply for the Ministry of Education and Culture’s national development grants for the promotion of a physically active lifestyle to support their Higher Education on the Move activities.
The purpose of the grant is to create permanent everyday activities or benefits for higher education institutions that can be upheld even after the end of the funding.
In our opinion, it is best for both the student union or student association and the higher education institution to apply for the grant together. This will better guarantee and demonstrate the commitment of the whole community to joint development.
Grant application for 2022
- Application period: autumn 2021
- Normally, the self-financed share has to be at least 20% of the project’s total budget.
- In the past, higher education institutions have received annual grants of around €10,000–30,000 for their 1–3 year projects.
