The Finnish Stundent Sports Federation nominates Marika Uusi-Illikainen to the board of the Olympic Committee
Marika Uusi-Illikainen, vice president of The Finnish Stundent Sports Federation (OLL), believes that it is possible to promote competitive sports and an active lifestyle in a joint umbrella organization.
On the board of the Olympic Committee, Uusi-Illikainen wants to promote an active lifestyle, support organizations' opportunities to influence and build a sustainable sports policy for the benefit of society as a whole. Currently, Uusi-Illikainen is the vice president of OLL and works as executive director of Tampere Jumppatiimi TAJU ry. She also has a master's degree in physical education and holds positions of trust, e.g. as a deputy member of the state sports council and deputy representative of the Greens in Kangasala.
