New Financial Committee for 2023–2024

Published: Category: News Tags:

The Finnish Student Sports Federation (OLL) has a Financial Committee which helps the board and the Secretary General oversee and improve OLL’s finances. The Committee is appointed by the board and consists of eight people. Ideally, the members should have experience and knowledge of finance and volunteering for organisations.

The Financial Committee meets at least four times per year for the quarterly review of the Federation’s finances (January, April, July/August, October), and when needed. The Committee can put forward motions relating to the Federation’s administration and finances.

OLL is now asking their member organisations to nominate representatives for the Financial Committee. External experts can also be appointed as members of the Committee. OLL's Secretary General acts as secretary for the Finance Committee. The Committee has a two-year mandate, until the end of 2024. The first meeting will take place between 12‒16 December 2022.

We ask our member organisations to propose members for the Finance Committee by 30 September 2022 via email to niko.peltokangas@oll.fi. The proposal can also specify whether the person would be willing to chair the Committee.
