SELL Games centenary celebrations took place in Estonia
Published:The SELL Student Games of Finland and the Baltic countries were held on May 19–21 in Tartu, Estonia. The Finnish Student Sports Federation was there to represent Finland and to enjoy the competitive atmosphere. OLL’s three-person delegation included president Emilia Junnila, vice president Atte Kolehmainen and events and training specialist Markku Rantahalvari.

OLL reminds negotiators at the House of Estates of the value of university sports
Published:Opiskelijoiden Liikuntaliitto (OLL) muistuttaa Säätytalolle kokoontuneita hallitusohjelmaneuvottelijoita korkeakoululiikunnan tärkeydestä maanantaina 8. toukokuuta klo 8–9. OLL:n tavoitteena on saada hallituksen ohjelmaan toimenpiteitä, joilla edistetään opiskeluhyvinvointia turvaamalla yhdenvertaisesti kaikkien opiskelijoiden mahdollisuus fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen.

Universities on the Move gets stronger – MoE gives OLL a significant grant for further development of Universities on the Move
Published:The Ministry of Education and Culture (MoE) is giving Universities on the Move, which is coordinated by the Finnish Student Sports Federation (OLL), a grant of 90,000 euros for the first year. The project will last three years. The focus lies on finding new solutions which increase the physical everyday activity at universities and to implement these in practice with the university communities.

Published:The Finnish Student Sports Federation (OLL) will celebrate its one hundred years of operations in 2024. The Ministry of Education and Culture has granted OLL 30,000 euros in funding to celebrate the history of organised student sports.

The Finnish Student Sports Federation is taking part in building a just transition
Published:Few things create so much good in society as the sports sector. And yet its importance is only acknowledged as an aside. A huge amount of expertise in everything from sports facilities to events and from activity-based work to nutrition often remains unutilised. This means that the sports sector walks humbly in the shadows, but there is a great deal of strength to be found in the shadows and asides. A strength which can be used for the good of the environment.
