The International Day of University Sport is Back at the Campuses for the Third Time

The International Day of University Sports (IDUS), declared by UNESCO and the International University Sports Federation FISU, will be celebrated on the 20th of September 2018. This third celebration of student sports will be visible at Finnish universities. During the day, several sporting events will be held at universities around Finland by student unions, university sports services and student sports clubs and associations.

IDUS aims to raise awareness of the importance of university sports for the well-being of students around the world, and also to gather students to community events during the day.

The International University Sports Federation, FISU, will be coordinating the day’s events internationally. The Finnish Student Sports Federation is the Finnish representative member of FISU.

The day’s events can be followed on social media using the hashtag #LetsIDUS.
