University Sports 100 : 1924–2024

Annual Ball on 13 April

The Finnish Student Sports Federation celebrated its centenary on Saturday, 13 April 2024 at Koskenranta Event Centre, Helsinki. People with high merits in promoting Finnish exercise and sports received awards from OLL and the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Other events will also be held during the anniversary year, such as the student sports 100th anniversary seminar. The Ministry of Education and Culture has granted the Federation funding for the anniversary activities. The funding will be used for various purposes including hiring a new project worker.

Participate in documenting the history of student sports!

In the anniversary year, the hundred-year history of organised student sports in Finland will be celebrated by publishing a history of student sports. The book will be compiled in collaboration with the TAHTO Center for Finnish Sports Culture. You can contribute to documenting history by donating to our centenary fundraising campaign!
